Naomi Watts looked gorgeous at the Giorgio Armani screening of Fair Game in NYC last week. Her softly curled, side-parted style was the perfect mix of undone glamour so we asked Brad Ngata of Brad Ngata Hair Direction for his expert advice of recreating the style at home.

He said, "Naomi is definitely wearing extensions to boost her style — I always use and recommend Great Lengths which are a great option for adding volume and style support. To style your hair like Naomi you'll need a blow-dryer, medium sized curling iron, section clips, a Mason Pearson brush and products including mousse, setting lotion and hairspray."

STEP 1: After washing, towel dry hair thoroughly. Apply mousse, such as L'Oreal Professionnel Techni.art Volume Full Volume Extra ($25), to the roots evenly and tip head upside down while blasting dry.

STEP 2: Brush with your Mason Pearson and smooth out. Then create a side part. Tip: a good gauge for finding the perfect part line is to use the arch of your eyebrow as a guide.

STEP 3: Starting at the back, section your hair off before using your round brush to blow-dry your hair smooth, but still voluminous. On the same section, use your tong to really lock in the bounce.

STEP 4: Repeat this step all over your head and when you reach the front begin wrapping the hair around the tong. Directing hair towards the face, roll the hair half way up the hair shaft and then let drop.

STEP 5: When complete, brush the hair in the direction you have prepped it and use a light misting of your hairspray to set. Finish with L'Oreal Professionnel Techni.art Crystal Gloss ($25) for added shine.
