With Great Lengths hair extensions, you will get a good 3-6 months of beautiful wear out of them. After that time, the extensions will have grown out and will be increasingly less ‘hidden’ as the bond will be further out from your head. When you see this happen, it’s best to schedule your removal and or/ re-application with a new set.

After Care – Once you have your Great Lengths applied, you’ll need to not wash your hair for 2 days. This will allow your extensions to fully adhere and settle in. The loss of a few bonds is completely normal too so don’t worry if you have a few that slip. It’s always a good idea to make an appointment a couple weeks after your application in order to confirm that all the bonds are securely holding.
Brushing with Great Lengths: Brush Great Lengths three times a day with the recommended Great Lengths brush. Unlike many extension systems, regular and thorough brushing is recommended for Great Lengths extensions. Beginning at the nape, brush row by row, scalp to ends. Always pull Great Lengths into a softly held ponytail while sleeping or any activity that has your hair blowing in the wind. These important brushing and steps will prevent tangling at the attachment sites.
